걸침이 2개가 되었을 때는 ‘쌍걸침’이라 부릅니다. 이때 상단에 위치한 걸침을 ‘윗걸침’, 하단에 놓인 걸침을 ‘아래걸침’이라 합니다. 가로줄기라는 큰 축에 비해 걸침이 차지하는 공간은 비록 협소하지만, 글줄 흐름에 큰 영향을 미칩니다.
